<span>Pregnant
women are discouraged to smoke while pregnant. This can cause miscarriage
because of the toxic chemicals that cigarettes bring and are readily absorbed
by the fetus when a mother smokes. Not only will it lead to a possible
miscarriage, if the baby does survive, he/she might end up with physical
abnormalities or mental disorders. This is the reason why mothers should be
very careful about the choices they make during pregnancy because the life of a
younger being is also at stake.</span></span></span>
