Answer:

a) The rise of farming and domestication of animals.

Explanation:

An ice age is a long period of reduction in the temperature of the Earth's surface and atmosphere, resulting in the presence or expansion of continental and polar ice sheets and alpine glaciers. Earth's climate alternates between ice ages and greenhouse periods, during which there are no glaciers on the planet.

What caused the end of the Ice Age?

The variation of sunlight reaching Earth is one cause of ice ages. ... When less sunlight reaches the northern latitudes, temperatures drop and more water freezes into ice, starting an ice age. When more sunlight reaches the northern latitudes, temperatures rise, ice sheets melt, and the ice age ends.

Developments caused in part by the end of the last ice age and its resulting climate change around 9000BCE:

Around 10,000 years ago, the latest ice age came to an end. Sea levels rose as the ice sheets melted, and Britain became separated from the European mainland shortly

The introduction of farming, when people learned how to produce rather than acquire their food, is widely regarded as one of the biggest changes in human history.

This change happened at various times in several different places around the world. The concept of farming that reached Britain between about 5000 BC and 4500 BC had spread across Europe from origins in Syria and Iraq between about 11000 BC and 9000 BC.

Traditionally the arrival of farming is seen as a major and rapid change sometimes called the 'Neolithic revolution'

If slavery is<br> illegal, how is sharecropping legal?
ehidna [41]
When Lincoln died, the nation was thrown into trying to rebuild from the civil war, multiple slavery sympathizers got government positions so they introduced new stuff that was like slavery but not directly linked to it. Some of those systems still stand today, it’s sad. GOD BLESS AMERICA

Pls HELP ME and HURRY UP ASAP! Its about The Oregon Trail. I got the first 2 done. Now help me please with the other 4!
Anastasy [175]

Answer:

LOOK BELOW

Explanation:

WHO: The Oregon Trail was laid by fur traders and trappers from about 1811 to 1840, and was only passable on foot or by horseback. By 1836, when the first migrant wagon train was organized in Independence, Missouri, a wagon trail had been cleared to Fort Hall, Idaho.

What: The Oregon Trail was a 2,170-mile east-west, large-wheeled wagon route and emigrant trail in the United States that connected the Missouri River to valleys in Oregon. The eastern part of the Oregon Trail spanned part of what is now the state of Kansas and nearly all of what are now the states of Nebraska and Wyoming

WHY: Determined to spread Christianity to American Indians on the frontier, doctor and Protestant missionary Marcus Whitman set out on horseback from the Northeast in 1835 to prove that the westward trail to Oregon could be traversed safely and further than ever before.

HOW: Everything from California to Alaska and between the Rocky Mountains and the Pacific Ocean was a British-held territory called Oregon. The trail pointed the way for the United States to expand westward to achieve what politicians of the day called its “Manifest Destiny” to reach “from sea to shining sea.”
