Answer:

the central nervous system and the endocrine system.

Explanation:

When corticotropin-release factor (CRF) travels from the hypothalamus to the pituitary, the pituitary releases the body's adrenocorticotrophic hormone (ACTH). The bloodstream carries ACTH to the adrenal gland and various other organs. This example illustrates the complex relationship between the central nervous system and the endocrine system.

The hypothalamus is part of the nervous system and it is located in the forebrain below the thalamus. The major function of the hypothalamus is to link the nervous system to the endocrine system via the pituitary gland. The interaction of the hypothalamus, the pituitary gland and the adrenal gland to release hormones is an example of how the nervous system (hypothalamus) is linked to the endocrine system (pituitary gland).

Do the economic benefits of free trade outweigh the social costs?
mamaluj [8]

The correct answer to this open question is the following.

Although there are no options attached we can say the following.

Do the economic benefits of free trade outweigh the social costs?

Not really, and it all depends on the perspective.

From the big companies and industrial side, free trade has been a success. Free trade has allowed thousands of companies to export their goods with cero import tariffs, benefiting the income. It has allowed multinational companies to go abroad and establishing branches in different parts of the world, basically in underdeveloped nations.

Once there, they paid very low salaries, much less than what they should have paid in their former countries, That is a reason why they moved to underdeveloped countries. So cheap labor is one reason. And other these multinational companies freely exploit the many raw materials and natural resources of that underdeveloped country.

Meanwhile, free trade makes rich people and corporations richer, and poor countries and poor people continue to be as poor as they have always been. No serious progress at all,

Pachacha [2.7K]

Answer:

 • The United States experienced major waves of immigration during the colonial era, the first part of the 19th century and from the 1880s to 1920. Many immigrants came to America seeking greater economic opportunity, while some, such as the Pilgrims in the early 1600s, arrived in search of religious freedom.
 • On August 3, 1882, the forty-seventh United States Congress passed the Immigration Act of 1882. It is considered by many to be "first general immigration law" due to the fact that it created the guidelines of exclusion through the creation of "a new category of inadmissible aliens."
 • The first immigrant processed is Annie Moore, a teenager from County Cork in Ireland. More than 12 million immigrants would enter the United States through Ellis Island between 1892 and 1954.
