Well if she can grade 25 in 4 hours..
First we have to find out how many she can grade in 1 hour
to find that out you can just divide the papers/hours= the paper per 1 hour
25/4= 6.25 papers per hour
So then to figure out how many papers the teacher can grade in 6 hours you multiply the number of papers per hour x the number of hours= number of papers in 6 hours
6.25*6= 37.5 papers in 6 hours
so the answer would be A) 37.5

Answer:

15 units per unit

Step-by-step explanation:

From the graph we can easily tell that y increases from 0 to 15 as x increases from 2 to 3.

Thus, the average rate of change of f(x) on the interval [2, 3] is:

    1         15 - 0       15 units

--------- * ----------- = -------------- = 15 units (rise) per unit (run).

X is a normally Distributed random variable with a standard deviation of 4.00. Find the mean of X when 64.8% of the area lies to
Cerrena [4.2K]

Answer:

7

Step-by-step explanation:

σ = 4 ; μ =?

8.52 to the left of X

.

P(X < 8.52) = 64.8%

P(X < 8.52) = 0.648

Using the Z relation :

(x - μ) / σ

P(Z < (8.52 - μ) / 4)) = 0.648

The Z value of 0.648 of the lower tail is equal to 0.38 (Z probability calculator)

Z = 8.52 - μ / 4

0.38 = 8.52 - μ / 4

0.38 * 4 = 8.52 - μ

1.52 = 8.52 - μ

μ = 8.52 - 1.52

μ = 7

The empirical rule says that approximately 68% of any normal distributed data set lies within one standard deviation of the mean.

The same rule states that about 95% lies within two standard deviations of the mean. Using this rule, and the fact that any normal distribution is symmetric about its mean, you have
