The answer is 112 because the number in between keeps going up by three. I know that sounds confusing but here is my logic.

61-40=21 21+3=24 and 61+24=85 so this means that if we add 3 to 24, we will get 27 and if you add 27 to 85 you get 112. Then after that add 3 to 27 and get 30. Then add 30 to 112 and get 142.

So basically the answer is 112 because the number being added to the other numbers goes up by 3 every time. Hope that helped:)

What are ratio and proportion?

A ratio is a collection of ordered integers a and b represented as a/b, with b never equaling zero. A proportionate expression is one in which two items are equal.

Shawn is collecting money from students at his school for a charity.

The table gives the ratios of the number of students who have donated and the amount of money he has collected from them.

Since 30 is 1/3 of 90, we know the ratio is 1:3.

In order of blank boxes going from left to right then down

1, 9, 5, 75, 35

The complete table is attached below.

Step-by-step explanation:

I like to use a spreadsheet for repetitive calculations. The distances are computed from the distance formula:

The results are shown in the second attachment. The drawing in the first attachment has the lengths rounded to the nearest tenth.
