Many studies show that women are more prone to having problems that are alcohol related sooner and even though they usually drink less than men and that's because of multiple reasons. Women, on average, weigh less than men, so women have less water in their system than men. After the the same alcohol consumption by both men and women, that weigh nearly the same, women's blood will have bigger alcohol concentration.
