First of all you work out the multiplier for 33%, to do this you can divide 33 by 100:
33/100 = 0.33

Then you can multiply the 360 by the 0.33 to get the final answer:
360*0.33 = 118.8

The answer is 118.8,
Hope this helps! :)

Suppose $TIP$ and $TOP$ are isosceles triangles. Also suppose that $TI=5,$ $PI=7,$ and $PO=11$.
Roman55 [17]

Answer:

18

Step-by-step explanation:

If TP = 7, then TO can be 7 or 11 to make the triangle isosceles.

If TP = 5, then TO can 5 or 11

Stop right there, though! Your logic is correct, but TO cannot be 5! Why? Triangles have certain properties that they must adhere to for a triangle to exist. One such theorem is called the triangle inequality theorem. It states that the sum of the lengths of two different sides is greater than the remaining third side.

The other side length possibilities adhere to this restriction, thankfully. Now, add 7 and 11.  7+11=18

Solve the equation y=2x^2-x-6 using the quadratic formula show the steps to solving
saul85 [17]

Answer:

x1 = 2 \\ x2 =  -  \frac{3}{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

x =  \frac{ - b +  -  \sqrt{ {b}^{2} - 4ac } }{2a}  \\ x =  \frac{1 +  -  \sqrt{ {( - 1)}^{2} - 4(2)( - 6) } }{2(2)}  \\ x =  \frac{1 +  -  \sqrt{1  + 48} }{4}  \\ x =  \frac{1 +  -  \sqrt{49} }{4}  \\ x =  \frac{1 +  - 7}{4}  \\  \\ x1 =  \frac{1  + 7}{4}  =  \frac{8}{4}  = 2 \\ x2 =  \frac{1 - 7}{4}  =   - \frac{6 }{4}  =  -  \frac{3}{2}
