Answer:

42 square units is not correct because you have to find the area of the rectangle(QUTR) and the area of the triangle(RST)

Area of rectangle is 42 square units

Area of the triangle is 10.5 square units

Add both which gives you the area of the polygon QRSU - 52.5 Square units

Point Q is 6 units from Point R.

Point R is 7 units from Point T.

Point T is 3 units from Point S.

The area of polygon QRSU is 52.5 square units.

Inessa [10]

Answer:

B) 12

Step-by-step explanation:

C is the circumference, d is the diameter, and r is the radius. They are related by the following equations:

d = 2r

C = πd = 2πr

If d = 6.0, then r = 3.0.

If C / C' = 0.25, then:

(2πr) / (2πr') = 0.25

r / r' = 0.25

3 / r' = 0.25

r' = 12

∆ABC is reflected about the line y = -x to give ∆A'B'C' with vertices A'(-1, 1), B'(-2, -1), C(-1, 0). What are the vertices of
blsea [12.9K]
Hi there!
Reflections across the line y = -x always go by the rule (-y, -x). We can use this rule to get our answer here. We are given the aftermath of the reflection coordinates, which are A'(-1, 1), B'(-2, -1), and C'(-1, 0). All we have to do now is switch up the coordinate values and multiply them by -1. Here is the work -
A'(-1, 1) => (1, -1) => x -1 => A(-1, 1)
B'(-2, -1) => (-1, -2) => x -1 => B(1, 2)
C'(-1, 0) => (0, -1) => x -1 => C(0, 1)
Therefore, the coordinates of Triangle ABC are A(-1, 1); B(1, 2); C(0,1). Hope this helped and have a phenomenal day!

Find the length of an arc made by a 180-degree central angle in a circle with a 10ft radius
mixas84 [53]

Answer:

the length of an arc = 10π ft.

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of an arc with angle Θ and radius r will be equal r * Θ

note the angle must be in radian

Given: Θ = 180° = π and radius = r = 10 ft.

So, the length of the arc = π * 10 = 10π ft.
