Answer:

m = 5.97

n = 24

Explanation:

The scientific notation is of the form.

m × 10^n

Where m is a number between 1 and 10

While n is the power.

Expressing the question below in scientific notation

5,970,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 kg

= 5.97 × 10^24

Therefore,

m = 5.97

n = 24

A ball has a mass of 0.1 kg and an initial velocity of 20 m/s. The ball is given an acceleration of 30 m/s2 for 5 s. What is the
djverab [1.8K]

Answer:

acceleration = v-u /t

30- 20/5

= 10/5 = 2m/sec²

Force = mass * acceleration

Plane a travels at 900km/h and plane b travels at 250/5.which plane travels faster
vesna_86 [32]

Explanation:

We have,

Speed of plane a is 900 km/h

Plane b is moving at a rate of \dfrac{250\ km}{5\ h}=50\ km/h

It is required to find which plane is faster. To find which plane is faster, we need to compare their speeds.

Speed of a plane a is 900 km/h and that of plane b is 50 km/h. So, we can say that plane a is moving faster.

The common value for the speed of light in a vacuum is:
OLEGan [10]

The common value for “Speed of light in vacuum” is \bold{3 \times 10^{8}}  metre per second.

Answer: Option b

<u>Solution: </u>

Speed of light can be defined as the speed with which light waves propagate in different medium. In vacuum, speed of light is 186,282 miles per second or 299,792 km/s which is rounded off as 3 \times 10^{8} \mathrm{m} / \mathrm{s}.

“Speed of light in vacuum” is a universal constant and usually represented by ‘c’. Light waves travels at a speed of 3 \times 10^{8}  metre per second in vacuum.

What is an advantageous disadvantage of generating electricity using a hydroelectric power station rather than wind turbines ?
Andrei [34K]

The advantages of generating electricity using a hydroelectric power station rather than wind turbines is that it's not polluting anything since it's regular water. It also can be used over and over again.

The disadvantages of using a hydroelectric power station is that it can be very deadly and cause damage to towns if it overfills or falls apart releasing all the water. Since nothing lasts forever, eventually they will break apart and would require everyone to evacuate before doing so. Another disadvantage is that it disrupts migration of animals that live in the water such as fish.

It's better than wind turbines because wind turbines require a lot of wind to turn and on days without wind, very little energy can be produced.
