Hello!

In the reaction, both of the gas volumes would depend on the temperature and pressure conditions.

The volume of gases will always depend on temperature and pressure. Although the number of moles and particles doesn't change, the volume that the gas occupies does. There is an equation that helps us calculate the volume of gas in an easy way. It's called the Ideal Gas Law. The equation is the following one:

P*V=n*R*T

Where:
P=pressure
V=volume
n=number of moles
R=Ideal Gas Constant
T=Temperature

This equation demonstrates that the volume of a gas will increase as the temperature increases and decrease as the pressure increases.

Have a nice day!

Discuss the environmental problems caused by the combustion of fossil fuels(a few lines only)
sp2606 [1]
Burning fossil fuels release a lot of carbon dioxide which is a greenhouse gas which contributes to global warming. Also burning of fossil fuels causes a lot of air pollution. You can also describe in detail the effect of carbon dioxide on global warming in general

What is the net ionic
charge for an oxygen ion
jok3333 [9.3K]

Answer:

2-

Step-by-step explanation:

An O atom is neutral because it has the same number of protons as electrons.

O is in Group 16, so it adds two electrons to get a complete octet.

Since it has two extra electrons, the charge on an oxygen ion is 2-.
