Answer:

\sqrt{3} or \frac{1}{\sqrt{3} }

Step-by-step explanation:

There are no any options but we calculate the ratio of leg as the following way.

Construct a 30-60-90 triangle (ΔABC), which shown in the figure.

Let  the length of one leg (AB) =x units, then the length of the other leg (BC) of the triangle=BC=tan30*x units

BC =\frac{1}{\sqrt{3} } *x units

BC=\frac{x}{\sqrt{3} } units

Hence the ratio of legs in the triangle ABC is AB:BC = x:\frac{x}{\sqrt{3} } =\sqrt{3}

or  the ratio of legs in the triangle ABC is BC:AB =\frac{x}{\sqrt{3} } :x =\frac{x}{\sqrt{3} } *\frac{1}{x}=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3} }

There are many answers for a ratio question, and I do not know the choices but since each number could be divided by 30 I would. Do that to get 1:2:3. Hope this helps.

Find the area of the kite !!!! PLEASE HELP!!!!
Andrew [12]

ANSWER

D. 18 m^2

EXPLANATION

The area of a kite is half the product of the diagonals.

The diagonals of the kite are

3+3=6m

and

2+4=6m

The area of the kite

=  \frac{1}{2}  \times 6 \times 6

= 3 \times 6

= 18 {m}^{2}

The correct answer is D.

Find the gradient, picture below
hoa [83]

Answer:

\frac{dy}{dx}  =  \frac{13}{8}

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 2x + 6 {x}^{ -  \frac{1}{2} }  \\  \frac{dy}{dx} = 2 + 6( -  \frac{1}{2}) {x}^{ -  \frac{1}{2} - 1 }   \\  \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2 - 3 {x}^{ -  \frac{3}{2} }  \\ \frac{dy}{dx}  = 2 -  \frac{3}{ \sqrt{ {x}^{3} } }

When x = 4,

\frac{dy}{dx}  = 2 -  \frac{3}{ \sqrt{ {4}^{3} } }  \\  =  \frac{13}{8}
