One of the major ethical dilemma for advancements in biotechnology is the production of clones of humans. Humans fear that the cloning of humans can be a serious threat to the mankind.

Another major dilemma of biotechnology is that the wild-type species might become eradicated from the world and no genetic diversity would remain.
