(A) Watson and Crick discovered microorganisms. With today’s powerful microscopes, we are able to study microorganisms and how they cause illness or disease. Because of Watson and Crick's discovery and modern technology, many lives have been saved.


(B) Watson and Crick discovered x-rays. Today, we use what they discovered and build x-ray machines, CT Scanners, and PET scanners. These imaging devices transformed the diagnosis of disease. As a result, patients are receiving the treatment they need.
