Eating nutritious meals is a good example of a healthy short term goal, so is promoting others to and to exercise to get a good advantage to get to the goal. Another example would be running for 5k weeks because that has a stopping point.

So basically, the question is asking for a example of someone working to reach a goal, but doesn't keep that goal, making it not for a life span.
