To find the tax..you have to take the percentage from the car cost. In the cost, 5000,move the decimal left once to get 10%.

500= 10%

Now, you need the 7.5 left...

Move the decimal over twice to get 1%

50=1%

Now do 50 x 7 to get the 7%= which is 350

And now you need the last .5%, so divide 50 by 2.

You get 25= .5%

Now you add it up.

25+350=500= 875 Tax

So now you add the Tax and the car cost, which is B. $5,875

Natalka [10]

Answer:

The answer to your question is 12.5 %

Step-by-step explanation:

Data

Total points = 168

Points scored in the regular season = 147

Percent of points scored in the playoff game = ?

Process

1.- Calculate the points scored in the playoff game

  Points in playoff game = 168 - 147

                                          = 21

2.- Calculate the percent of points scored in the playoff game using proportions

                      168 points -------------------- 100%

                        21 points --------------------- x

                        x = (21 x 100) / 168

                        x = 2100 / 168

                        x = 12.5 %

A square has an area of 576 great inches how long is each side of feet
bija089 [108]
The formula for the area of a square is A=s*s or A=s^2
So we can plug in the area and solve for the side
576=s^2 (square root both sides)
s=24 inches

Since one foot is 12 inches, 24 inches would be 2 feet

Hope this helps
