A specific brand of gourmet chocolate candy contains 7.00 g of dietary fat in each 22.7-gpiece. How many kilograms of dietary fa
Genrish500 [490]

Answer:  0.14 kg

Explanation:

Gourmet chocolate candy contains 7.00 g of dietary fat in each 22.7-g piece

That is 1 piece of candy weighs 22.7 g and contains 7.00 g of dietary fat

Converting the mass in pounds to kg

1 lb = 0.45 kg = 450 grams    (1kg=1000g)

Number of pieces = \frac{450}{22.7g}=20pieces

1 piece contains = 7 g of dietary fat

Thus 30 pieces would contain =\frac{7}{1}\times 20=140g of dietary fat

1 g = 0.001 kg

Thus 140 grams =\frac{0.001}{1}\times 140=0.14kg

Thus 0.14 kg of dietary fat are in a box containing 1.00 lb of candy.

Hydrogen atom and chlorine atom makes hydrogen chloride molecules.

It is the lowest point in the substance and possesses chemical elements. Atoms don't exist on their own; instead, they combine to create ions and molecules, which combine to create the substances that we can see, feel, and touch.

One or more atoms joined together by covalent (chemical) connections make up molecules. Atoms can be imagined as circles with a central nucleus (consisting of protons and neutrons) and one or more concentric circles surrounding it that represent the "shells" or "levels" in which the electrons surrounding the atom's nucleus are located as well as markings that distinguish the electron. every level

using the following thermochemical equation, determine the amount of heat produced from the combustion of 24.3 g benzene (c6h6).
aliya0001 [1]

the amount of heat produced from the combustion of 24.3 g benzene (c6h6) is ΔH = -976.5 kJ

There are two moles of benzene involved in the process (C6H6). Since the heat of this reaction is -6278 kJ, the burning of 2 moles of benzene will result in a heat loss of 6278 kJ. This reaction is exothermic.

Enthalpy, or the value of H, is a unit of measurement for heat that relies on the amount of matter present (number of moles).

Thus, 24.3 g of benzene contains:

n = mass/molar mass, where n = 24.3/78.11, and n = 0.311 moles.

2 moles = 6278 kJ

0.311 moles =x

By the straightforward direct three rule:

2x = -1953.08 x = -976.5 kJ
