Answer:

4.7 × 10⁵J

Explanation:

E = I * a * t

80% = 0.80

25cm = 0.25m

52cm = 0.52m

0.90h = 3240s

E = (0.80)(1400)(0.25 * 0.52)(3240)

= 4.7 * 10⁵J

What can we say about Gamma waves on<br> the electromagnetic spectrum?
sladkih [1.3K]

Answer: Gamma-rays have the smallest wavelengths and the most energy of any other wave in the electromagnetic spectrum. These waves are generated by radioactive atoms and in nuclear explosions. Gamma-rays can kill living cells, a fact which medicine uses to its advantage, using gamma-rays to kill cancerous cells.

1. A 1,000-kg car has 50,000 joules of kinetic energy. What is its speed?
bulgar [2K]
Use KE= 1/2mv^2
So...
50,000=(.5)(1,000)v^2
50,000=500 x v^2
Divide 500 on both sides
100 = v^2
Square root both sides to get rid of v^2
Therefore v = 10 m/s

In creating his definition of horsepower, James Watt, the inventor of the steam engine, calculated the power output of a horse o
Studentka2010 [4]

Answer:

Part a)

F = 182.3 Lb

Part b)

P = 0.55 HP

Explanation:

Diameter of the circle = 24 ft

Diameter = 731.52 cm = 7.3152 m

now the horse complete 144 trips in one hour

so time to complete one trip is given as

t = \frac{3600}{144} s

t = 25 s

now the speed of the horse is given as

v = \frac{2\pi r}{t}

v = \frac{\pi(7.3152)}{25}

v = 0.92 m/s

Part a)

Now we know that the power is defined as rate of work done

it is given as

P = F v

746 = F(0.92)

F = 810.9 N

F = 182.3 Lb

Part b)

Work done to climb up to 3 m height is given by

W = mgh

now we have

Power = \frac{Work}{time}

P = \frac{mgh}{t}

P = \frac{(70kg)(9.81)(3)}{5.0s}

P = 412.02 Watt

now we know that 1 HP = 746 Watt

so we have

P = \frac{412}{746} = 0.55 HP

A backpack weighs 8.2 Newtons and has a mass of 5 kilograms on the moon what is the strength of gravity on the moon
lions [1.4K]

i dont get it so much but

The weight of the bag pack is 8.2 N. g = 1.64 m/s2. Hence, the acceleration due to gravity on moon is 1.64 m/s2. sooo? is it right
