Hello there again! :) :D

Answer:

\boxed{X=5}

<u><em>*The answer must have A POSITIVE SIGN ONLY!*</em></u>

Step-by-step explanation:

First, you subtract by 1 from both sides of an equation.

3x+1-1=8x-24-1

Add/Subtract by the numbers from left/right.

24+1=25

3x=8x-25

Then, you subtract by 8x from both sides of an equation.

3x-8x=8x-25-8x

Simplify equation.

-5x=-25

Divide by -5 from both sides of an equation.

\frac{-5x}{-5}=\frac{-25}{-5}

Divide by the numbers from left/right.

-25/-5=5

Final answer is → \boxed{X=5}

<em>Hope this helps you!</em>

<em>Have a nice day! :)</em>

A worker is handling the four of a rectangle room that is 12 feet by 15 feet.The tiles are square with side lengths 1 1/3 feet.
Anon25 [30]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The measure of the floor of the rectangular room that is 12 feet by 15 feet. The formula for determining the area of a rectangle is expressed as

Area = length × width

Area of the rectangular room would be

12 × 15 = 180 feet²

The tiles are square with side lengths 1 1/3 feet. Converting 1 1/3 feet to improper fraction, it becomes 4/3 feet

Area if each tile is

4/3 × 4/3 = 16/9 ft²

The number of tiles needed to cover the entire floor is

180/(16/9) = 180 × 9/16

= 101.25

102 tiles would be needed because the tiles must be whole numbers.
