<h3>Answer:</h3>

4.945 atm

<h3>Explanation:</h3>
  • Based on Dalton's law of Partial pressure, the total pressure of a mixture of gases is equivalent to the sum of individual partial pressures of the gases in the mixture.
  • That is;

Pt = P1+P2+P3+P4+............+ Pn

In this case;

Partial pressure of Oxygen, P(O) = 0.255 atm

Partial pressure of N, P(N) = 3.24 atm

Partial pressure of Ar, P(Ar) = 1.45 atm

Therefore;

P(total) = P(O) + P(N) + P(Ar)

           = 0.255 atm + 3.24 atm + 1.45 atm

           = 4.945 atm

Therefore, the total pressure of the mixture is 4.945 atm

Allushta [10]
C= comcentration
V= volume
C1*V1=C2*V2
3.5M*225.mL = xM*750 mL
x=(3.5*225/750) =1.05M≈1.1M

Sodium phosphate dissolves as follows: na3po4(s) → 3na (aq) po4-(aq). How many moles of na3po4 are required to make 1. 0 l of so
bezimeni [28]

The 0.05 moles of Na_{3}PO_{4} required to make 1 L of solution in which the Na concentration is 0. 15 M.

Calculation,

The Sodium phosphate dissolves as follows:

Na_{3}PO_{4}(s) → 3Na^{+} (aq)+PO_{4}^{-} (aq)

To make 1. L of solution in which the  Na^{+concentration is 0. 15 M

The morality  of Na^{+= 0.15 M = number of moles / volume in lit

The morality of Na^{+= 0.15 M = number of moles /1 Lit

number of moles of Na^{+ = 0.15 mole

The mole ratio is 1: 3

It means, the 1 mole of Na_{3}PO_{4}(s) required to form 3 mole of Na^{+

So, to form 0.15 mole of Na^{+  = 1×0.15 / 3 moles of Na_{3}PO_{4}(s)required.

Hence, number of moles of Na_{3}PO_{4}(s) required = 0.05 moles.

Can you identify an atom without knowing numbers of neutrons in it?
Masja [62]

Answer:

No

Explanation:

We cannot identify an atom without knowing numbers of protons in the atom.

The number of neutrons is the amount of neutrally charged particles in an atom. These subatomic particles occupy the dense nucleus with the protons.

  • To determine an atom, we use their atomic numbers.
  • Atomic number is the number of protons in an atom.
  • Protons are the positively charged particles in the atom.
  • The periodic table of elements is arranged by the atomic number of an element.

1) Balanced chemical reaction:

2HClO₄(aq) + K₂CO₃(aq) → K₂CO₃(aq) + CO₂(g) + H₂O(l).

2) Balanced chemical reaction:

HC₂H₃O₂(aq) + LiHSO₃(aq) → LiC₂H₃O₂(aq) (aq) + SO₂(g) + H₂O(l).

3) Balanced chemical reaction:

(NH₄)₂SO₄(aq) + Ca(OH)₂(aq) → CaSO₄(s) + 2NH₃(g) + 2H₂O(l).

CaSO₄ (calcium sulfate) is insoluble in water.
