You can merge all these variables together.
Understand that 6q and 5 couldn’t go together because 6 has a q.
However 6q and q can go together.
Whenever you see a variable like x, y or in this case q. It also means one.
So the q in this equation is actually, q1.

So when you merge all the numbers without any extra variables with them you get 9.

When you merge all the q’s together you get 5q.
This because that lone q is negative, so our equation when putting the q’s together looks like this: 6q-q1

In the end your equation is 5q+9

Answer:

TanФ=-1.793

Step-by-step explanation:

Sin^{2} (A) + Cos^{2} (A) = 1

Sin(A)=\sqrt{1-Cos^{2} (A)}

Tan(A) = \frac{Sin(A)}{Cos(A)}

Tan(A) =\frac{\sqrt{1-Cos^{2}(A) } }{Cos(A)} \\Tan(A) =\frac{\sqrt{1-(-.487)^{2} } }{-.487}=-1.793433202
