Remark

I think we are to assume that the line is a straight one and that it contains a total of 180o at the intersection.

Equation

2x + 7 + 6x - 9 = 180o

Solve

Combine the like terms on the left.

2x + 6x + 7 - 9 = 180

8x - 2 = 180o Add 2 to both sides.

8x - 2 + 2 = 180 + 2

8x = 182 Divide by 10

8x/8 = 182/8

x = 22.75

But that is not the answer.

You need to find 6x - 9

Angle = 6x - 9

Angle = 6*18.2 - 9

Angle = 127.5 <<<<< Answer.

Geometry math question no Guessing and Please show work
sergiy2304 [10]

the answer is D.

I dont know how to add work for a question like this, however, I know how I'd show work....

Draw a graph and stick a point in the IV quadrant and label it "original". Then next to it, draw another graph and stick a point in the III quadrant and label it "reflection"

TIP: if you do that, make sure the points are in the same location in each quadrant

Consider the following hypothesis test H0 p 20 Ha p 20 A sample of 400 provided a sample proportion p 175 a Compute the value of
Bogdan [553]

Answer:

a) -1.25

b) 0.2112

c) -1.96

Step-by-step explanation:

Data provided in the question:

Sample size, n = 400

H0 : p = 20

\bar{p} = 175

Now,

a) The test statistic is  given as:

Z = \frac{(\bar{p}-p)}{\sqrt{\frac{p(1-p)}{n}}}

on substituting the respective values, we get

Z = \frac{(0.175-0.2)}{\sqrt{\frac{0.2\times0.8}{400}}}

= -1.25

b) The p-value = 2 × P(Z <-1.25)

Now from the standard normal table

P(Z <-1.25) = 10.56% = 0.1056

Thus,

p-value = 2 × 1056 = 0.2112

c) for a = 0.05,

the critical value is Z_{\frac{a}{2}}=Z_{\frac{0.05}{2}} i.e Z_{0.025}

Now from standard normal table

Z_{0.025} = -1.96
