Here is your answer

Points are (14,-12) and (12,-1)

here, x1= 14, y1= -12, x2=12 and y2=-1

so,

Slope of given line is

{\dfrac}{y2-y1}/{x2-x1}

= -1-(-12)/12-14

= -1+12/-2

= 11/-2

= -11/2

= -5.5

A piece of chocolate is 4/5 inch long. Meg lays 4 chocolate pieces end to end in a row. How many inches long is the row of choco
almond37 [142]

Answer:

The length of row = 3.2 inches.

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of a chocolate = 4/5 inch

Total number of chocolate pieces placed = 4

Now we have given the length of one chocolate and it is required to find the total length of the row when four chocolates are placed end to end. So in order to find the length of the chocolate row we have to multiply the size of one chocolate by the number of chocolates.

The length of row = Length of one chocolate × number of chocolates

The length of row = 4/5 × 4

The length of row = 3.2 inches.

I’m a right triangle the length of the hypotenuse is 12and the length of one leg is 8 . What is the length of the other leg?
denis23 [38]

Answer:

other leg is 8.94

Step-by-step explanation:

Pythagorean Theorem  is a² + b² = c²

a and b are legs

c is the hypotenuse

8² + b² = 12²

64 + b² = 144

-64          -64

        b² = 80

        √b² = √80

         b ≈ 8.94
