The GCF is a number or variable you can get out of a equation, the GCF can also be checked to see if its correct by multiplying the GCF with what is left after you got it out E.J. the GCF of 10 and 25 is 5 because it can fit both in the 10 and the 25 now divide 5 by 10 to get 2 and 5 by 25 to get 5.. Now if you multiply 5 times 2 you get 10 and if you multiply 5 times 5 you get 25, now you can see that that GCF is correct Hope this helps

If : f(x)=x^2, g(x)=x-1. Find (f×g)(x).<br>
kramer

Answer:

  • \boxed{ f\cdot{g}(x) = x {}^{3}  - x {}^{2}}

Step by step explanation:

Given that,

f(x) =  {x}^{2}

g(x) = x - 1

Solution:

Solving for (f•g)(x):

= f(x) \cdot g(x)

Now substitute the given values.

= x {}^{2}  \cdot(x - 1)

= x {}^{2} (x - 1)

Apply distributive property:

= (x ^{2}  \cdot x) - x {}^{2}  \cdot 1

  • \boxed{ f\cdot{g}(x) =  x {}^{3}  - x {}^{2}}

Hence,f•g(x) will be x {}^{3}  - x {}^{2}.

kirza4 [7]

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that,

A piece of buttered toast falls to the floor 17 times. The toast landed buttered side up 6 times.

It means that the total number of outcomes are 17

We need to find the probability that the toast lands buttered side down. Favourable oucome is 17-6 = 11

So, probability is given by :

P(E)=\dfrac{\text{favourable outcomes}}{\text{total no of outcomes}}

P(E)=\dfrac{11}{17}

So, the  probability that the toast lands buttered side down is 11/17.

A newsletter publisher believes that over 30% of their readers own a Rolls Royce. For marketing purposes, a potential advertiser
Drupady [299]

The conclusion regarding the publisher's claim regarding the hypothesis is that have sufficient evidence to support the claim that the proportion is less than 30% of their readers own a Rolls Royce.

<h3>What is a null hypothesis?</h3>

The null hypothesis is a statistical theory that suggests that no statistical relationship and significance exists in a set of given single observed variable, between two sets of observed data and measured phenomena.

Since we reject the null hypothesis , we have sufficient evidence to support the claim. In this case, we have sufficient evidence to support the claim that the proportion is less than 30% of their readers own a Rolls Royce.
