Answer: Both DNA and RNA have four nitrogenous bases each—three of which they share (Cytosine, Adenine, and Guanine) and one that differs between the two (RNA has Uracil while DNA has Thymine). ... One of the most significant similarities between DNA and RNA is that they both have a phosphate backbone to which the bases attach.

Answer: They both have suga-phosphate backbone. They are made up of monomers called nucleotides.

Explanation: Nucleotides are monomeric units of nucleic acids. Nucleotides are made up of three parts: the pentose (5-carbon) sugar, a phosphate group and a nitrogenous bases. Both DNA and RNA have four nitrogenous bases but the only difference is that DNA contains Thymine while RNA contains Uracil. They both have adenine, cytosine and guanine in common. The sugar-phosphate backbone forms the rail of both DNA and RNA, each having a pentose-phosphate group but the difference is that DNA contains deoxyribose while RNA contains ribose sugar.

A boxer has been jumping rope for an hour. His leg muscles are burning and
xeze [42]

Answer:

anaerobic respiration takes place when you demand your muscles to do vigorous work. normally, aerobic respiration takes place but when energy is needed immediately, anaerobic respiration takes place. during anaerobic respiration, the body produces lactic acid, which leads to the burning sensation. your lungs deliver oxygen to the muscles much slower than the rate you need, since you're putting your muscles through an extensive exercise, and this leads to muscle fatigue.

Arrange the following steps for contraction in the correct sequence.
Kryger [21]

Answer:

Explanation:

Muscle contraction is stimulated by the movement of an action potential moving along a nerve fiber to the muscles. This event follow some series of process before being stimulated.

1. The impulse arrives at the synapse and travels through the transverse tubules.

2. The muscle impulse reaches the sarcoplasmic reticulum and calcium is released.

3. Calcium floods the sarcoplasm and binds to troponin molecules leaving active sites.

4. Tropomyosin molecules bind to exposed active sites, linking actin and myosin.

5. Thin filaments are pulled over the thick filaments.

6. The muscle fiber shortens and contracts.

If vascular plants have so many advantages, why do you think nonvascular plants still exist on earth today?
Verdich [7]
We all know that vascular plants really have many advantages. These refer to trees and flowering plants which really gives us what we need. While nonvascular plants are those small and simple plants which do not have any phloem or xylem. Despite nonvascular plants do not have as many advantages as the vascular plant to the people. They still played a big function in our ecosystem. For example, the algae, algae serve as the food of some of fishes in the pond or lakes. Non-vascular plants are also involved in processes like decomposition and indicators.<span>
