Answer: 690 W

Explanation:

A day has 24 hours, so a month has 24 × 30 = 720 hs

In a month whe spent a total of $60. 00, so per hour whe were  spending

60/720 = 0.083 $ per hour

We know the cost of one kw/hour  is  0.012 kw/hour so dividing the money spent in an hour among this value we get:

0.083/0.12 = 0.69 kw/hour

This power delivered is constant, so every moment it is

(0.69 kw)x1000 = 690Watts

Outside our solar system the closest star to earth is Proxima century life from the start takes 2200000 minutes to reach earth.
s2008m [1.1K]

Answer:

2200000 = 2.2E6 min for light from Proxima to reach earth

8.3 min from light sun to reach earth

2.2E6/8.3 = 2.56E5   times for light from Proxima

Proxima is about 256,000 times farther away than the sun

Since the sun is about 93,000,000 = 9.3E7 miles from earth

Proxima is then 9.3E7 * 2.56E5 = 2.4E13 miles away

Note - the speed of light is

3.00E8 m/s * 60 s/min / 1000 m/km = 1.8E7 km/min as given

An object has a velocity of 8 m/s and a kinetic energy of 480 j what is the mass of the object
dedylja [7]

We Know,

K.E. = 1/2 mv²

480 = 1/2 (m)(8)²

m = 960/64

m = 15 Kg

So, the mass of the object is 15 Kg

A dart is thrown at a dartboard 3.66 m away. When the dart is released at the same height as the center of the dartboard, it hit
lapo4ka [179]

Answer:

The  angle is  \theta  =  15.48^o

Explanation:

From the question we are told that

     The distance of the dartboard from the dart is  d = 3.66 \ m

     The time taken is  t =  0.455 \ s

The  horizontal component of the speed of the dart is mathematically represented as

      u_x =  ucos \theta

where u is the the velocity at dart is lunched

  so

      distance =  velocity \ in \ the\  x-direction  *  time

substituting values

      3.66 =   ucos  \theta *  (0.455)

 =>   ucos \theta =  8.04  \ m/s

From projectile kinematics the time taken by the dart can be mathematically represented as

         t  =  \frac{2usin \theta }{g}

=>    usin \theta =  \frac{g  * t}{2 }

       usin \theta =  \frac{9.8  * 0.455}{2 }

      usin \theta = 2.23

=>   tan \theta =  \frac{usin\theta }{ucos \theta }  =  \frac{2.23}{8.04}

       \theta  =  tan^{-1} [0.277]

      \theta  =  15.48^o

Rami uses a disposable camera that has a flash. When he wants to take a picture, he holds a button and hears a rising whining so
ivann1987 [24]
<span>It stores energy and delivers it in a short burst.

The whirring sound is produced by the charging of the capacitor. A capacitor is an electrical component which is capable of storing charge. When the capacitor stores charge, it is storing energy. After doing so, the capacitor releases the electrical energy that it had stored as light energy, which is seen as the flash of the camera. It must do so in a burst, because the intensity of the flash is very high and would require a high amount of energy to maintain.
