Assimilation is a process of combining characteristics that exist in different cultures into one.
This can be promoted by requiring the people to speak the same language because it make communication become much easier. The exchange of knowledge, information, and ideas that held by each other will be accelerated and members from each culture will start to adopt the characteristics of another culture into their own.
