Match the reasons with the statements in the proof to prove DF = EF, given that DEF is a triangle by definition and angles 3 and
icang [17]

Answer with explanation:

Given:

In Δ DEF, ∠3=∠4.

To prove:→ DE=E F

Proof:

1.  ∠3=∠4------[Given]

2. →∠1 and ∠ 3 are Supplementary to each other.

(a)⇒∠1 + ∠ 3=180°

 →∠2 and ∠ 4 are also Supplementary to each other.

(b)⇒∠2 + ∠ 4=180°

                                     --------------------[Exterior sides in opposite rays]

3. From 1 , a and b

 ⇒∠ 1 = ∠ 2-------[Two Angles Supplementary to equal Angles are equal to each other]

4. \Bar{DE}=\Bar{E F}

 If two angles of a Triangle are equal , then side opposite to these angles are equal.

A 4500 kg vehicle and a 3700kg vehicle are both moving at a speed of 85m/s toward east.Calculate the momentum of each veheicle?
lana [24]
The momentum formula is
p = m*v

where,
p = momentum (not sure why p is chosen but many physics books tend to pick this letter)
m = mass in kilograms
v = velocity in meters per second

So let's calculate the momentum for the 4500 kg vehicle
p = m*v
p = 4500*85
p = 382500 kg m/s

And let's do the same for the 3700 kg vehicle
p = m*v
p = 3700*85
p = 314500 kg m/s

Julia is going for a walk through the neighborhood. What unit of measure is most appropriate to describe the distance she walks?
Kryger [21]

Answer:

Possibly meters or feet/yards.

A walk through a neighborhood would be less than a mile/kilometer but much further than an inch/centimeter.
