\bf \textit{volume of a sphere}\\\\
V=\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}~~
\begin{cases}
r=radius\\[-0.5em]
\hrulefill\\
V=972\pi \end{cases}\implies 972\pi =\cfrac{4\pi r^3}{3}\implies (3)972\pi =4\pi r^3
\\\\\\
\cfrac{(3)972\pi }{4\pi }=r^3\implies 729=r^3\implies \sqrt[3]{729}=r\implies 9=r

The radius of the wheel of a bicycle is 14 inches. What is the distance that the bicycle covers after ten rotations? Use
ivolga24 [154]

Distance covered in 1 rotation = circumference of the wheel

                                                  = 2\pir

                                                  = 2 x \frac{22}{7} x 14

                                                  = 2 x 22 x 2

                                                  = 88 inches

Distance covered in 10 rotations = 88 x 10 = 880 inches

Therefore, the bike covers 880 inches after 10 rotations.

Simplify this expression leaving your answer in index form
kenny6666 [7]

Answer:

solution is 9a^16

Step-by-step explanation:

(6)^2= 36

(a^5)^2= a^25

36a^25/(9a^9)

(36/9)= 4

(a^25)/(a^9)= a^(25-9)= a^16

2. There are 18 other bottles in the fridge, because .6 of 30 is 18. 30 – 18 is 12, so there are 12 bottles of orange juice and cranberry juice.

4. If the probability of an event is 25%, then the probability of <em>not</em> that event is the other part of 100%. In other words, 1 – .25 = .75.
