expression can also contain variables

so, this is FALSE

An equation contains an equal sign; an expression does not

So, this is TRUE

Svetradugi [14.3K]

154mm

we know that  1cm = 10 mm

 therefore      15cm= 10*15 mm

                               =  150 mm

and 4 mm

we get total mm= 15cm +4mm

                          = 150mm+4mm

                           = 154 mm

What is the area of the figure?
uysha [10]
I think it'd be 10in. If you cut it into three parts, where the bottom is sectioned off from the other two rectangles, the two rectangles on the side both have an area of 3in, so together they'd be 6in. The rectangle on the bottom has a length of 4 and a width of 1, so it'd be 4in... add those together and get 10in. Hope this helps
