Fisrt is solve the distance of the segments using distance formula

Distance =sqroot[(x2−x1)^2+(y2−y1)^2]

So ditance of RS = 5

ST = 8.49

TR =6.08

The using herons formula

Area = sqrt ( s ( s-a) ( s-b) ( s-c) )

Where s s = 1/2 ( a + b + c )

And a, b , c are length of the sides

S = 9.785

Area = 14.99

A triangle has a perimeter of 48 feet. If the three sides of the triangle are n, 4n−2, and 4n−4, what is the length of each side
alexdok [17]

Answer:

6; 22; 20 (ft.)

Step-by-step explanation:

1) if the length of the each side are: n; 4n-2 and 4n-4, then the expression of the perimeter can be written: P=n+4n-2+4n-4 or P=9n-6.

2) if according to the condition perimeter is 48 (ft.), then

9n-6=P; ⇔ 9n-6=48; n=6.

3) if n=6, then the required lengths of the sides are:

n=6 (ft.);

4n-2=22 (ft.);

4n-4=20 (ft.)

The value of y will be equal to 4.61.

<h3>What is trigonometry?</h3>

Trigonometry is the branch of mathematics that set up a relationship between the sides and angle of the right-angle triangles.

The value of y will be calculated by using the Pythagorean theorem:-

a² + a² = (9√2)²

a = 9

Applying angle property in the triangle:-

tan26 = \dfrac{MK}{9}

9tan26 = MK

LM = 9 - 9tan26

LM = 9 - 4.38

LM = 4.62

Therefore the value of y will be equal to 4.61.

An expression is shown below
Leno4ka [110]

Answer:

B) It is irrational and equal to = 4\sqrt{2}

Step-by-step explanation:

The expression, \sqrt{18} + \sqrt{2} , is an irrational expression because it contains two irrational numbers, \sqrt{18} and \sqrt{2} . Both number are not perfect square. there is no whole number that would be squared that will give you 18 nor 2.

The expression can be equals the following:

\sqrt{18} + \sqrt{2}

= \sqrt{9*2} + \sqrt{2}

= \sqrt{9}*\sqrt{2} + \sqrt{2}

= 3\sqrt{2} + \sqrt{2}

= 4\sqrt{2}

The domain (input values) of the cosine function is all negative and positive angle measures.

Let the function be f(x) = cos(x)

The domain of cos(x) is -∞ < x < ∞

The range is -1 ≤ f(x) ≤ 1

Hence, domain of cos(x) is all (+) and (-) angle measures.

Same goes with sine function as well

For function f(x) = sin(x)

The domain is -∞ < x < ∞ and range -1 ≤ f(x) ≤ 1

However for f(x) = tan(x) the same is not applicable.
