After making a prediction the next step in a scientific method is the conduction of the experiment.

Explanation:

Any experiment or a scientific hypothesis deals with predicting a solution for a particular problem and drafting a hypothesis for the problem. After the prediction is made it is ideal to perform the experiments and thereby visualize the results .

Only after performing the experiment we would know if our hypothesis for the drafted problem is successful or unsuccessful , otherwise a new hypothesis should be given to overcome the problem.
