Chetan makes a necklace for his sister. Twelve beads take up 5 inches of string. How many beas fit on 1 foot of string

Find the amount of beads per inch:
12/5 = 2.4 (this doesn't make sense, but it will)
Now find the total beads on one foot, or 12 inches
2.4 x 12 = 28.8
Since 29 wont fit, 28 will be the largest whole number of beads that can fit on the string

How could the fact 36/6=6 help you estimate the quotient of 364,573/64?
butalik [34]
Because when you round 364,573 to the nearest thousand , you get 360,000 and when you round 64 , you get 60 and if you take away the zeros, the equation is basically 36÷6

Help on both <br><br> please !!! <br><br> don't give me irrelevant answers pls
Gennadij [26K]

Answer:

< 1 is 85

X= 50

Step-by-step explanation:

ok the first question has 2 angles given 60 and 65

consider this one shows a 90 degree angle and the other does not. so  60 plus 90 equals 150 degrees

the u must say 65 plus x (x being angle 1) must also equal 150

subtract 65 from 150 and you get 85

now the second problem lets use the

Exterior Angle Theorem

The measure of an exterior angle (our w) of a triangle equals to the sum of the measures of the two remote interior angles (our x and y) of the triangle.

using this we know the 40 degree angle and 2x + 20 equals 3x plus 10

so we subtract 10 degrees from both sides and get

2x plus 10 plus 40 equals 3x now this means x equals 10 plus 40 which is 50

Solve the equation 1) 4.3^x+1 = 27+9^x<br> 2) 3^x+5= 3^x+3+8/3
Bad White [126]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

4*3^x+1=27+(3^2)^x

(3^2)^x=(3^x)^2

3^x=t

4t+1=27+t^2

t^2-4t+27-1=0

t^2-4t+26=0

delta=4^2-4*1*26=16-84=-68<0

the  equation has not real solutions
