Answer:

1586cm

Step-by-step explanation:

The answer is 1586cm because.....

  • Step one, we have two shapes here we need to figure out the volume of the smaller rectangle. so we have the width of 6 the height of 2 and now we need to find the length of the smaller rectangle. To do so it is the same length as the other rectangle so we will replace the missing length with 13 cm since that is what  its length is. Now we multiply 6x2x13=156cm
  • Step two now we find the Volume of the bigger rectangle. Since we have all of the sides, this part will be easy peasy. Multiply 5x13x22 to get 1430.
  • Final step is add the two volumes together to get the total volume of this shape. Which is 1586 cm^2
  • Hope i helped :)

The student council sold jars of mixed nuts at their bazaar they were given 40 empty jars. They paid $19.60 for the nuts and $11
Alex Ar [27]

Answer:

\$1.75

Step-by-step explanation:

Total amount paid for the nuts is $19.60

Total amount paid for the ribbons is $11.20

Profit made on each jar is 98¢= $0.98

Cost price of the nuts and ribbon for the 40 jars is 19.6+11.2=\$30.8

Cost price for nuts and ribbonn for one jar = \dfrac{30.8}{40}=\$0.77

Selling price is the sum of the cost price and profit.

Selling price for one jar = 0.77+0.98=\$1.75

They charged \$1.75 for each jar.

Help Me With This Please
Cerrena [4.2K]
8. complementary angles = 90°
3x+3+10x-4 = 90
13x-1 = 90
13x = 91
so x = 91/13= 7
then K = 3(7)+3 = 24°
so L = 10(7)-4 = 70-4 = 66°

9. P is three less than twice of Q
so P = 2Q-3
supplementary angles = 180°

P+Q = 180
(2Q-3)+Q = 180
3Q-3 = 180
3Q = 183
so Q = 183/3 = 61°
then P= 2(61)-3 = 122-3 = 119°

10. B is two more than three times of C so B= 3C+2
complementary angles = 90°

B+C= 90
(3C+2)+C=90
4C+2=90
4C= 88
so C= 22°
then B = 3(22)+2= 66+2 = 68°
