Answer:

=\frac{x^2}{16} +\frac{y^2}{49}=1

Step-by-step explanation:

The equation of this ellipse is

\frac{(x-h)^2}{b^2} +\frac{y-k)^2}{a^2} =1

for a vertical oriented ellipse where;

(h,k) is the center

c=distance from center to the foci

a=distance from center to the vertices

b=distance from center to the co-vertices

You know center of an ellipse is half way between the vertices , hence the center (h,k) of this ellipse is (0,0) and its is vertical oriented ellipse

Given that

a= distance between the center and the vertices, a=7

c=distance between the center and the foci, c=√33

Then find b

a^2-b^2=c^2\\\\b^2=a^2-c^2\\\\\\b^2=7^2-(\sqrt{33} )^2\\\\\\b^2=49-33=16\\\\\\b^2=16

The equation for the ellipse will be

\frac{(x-0)^2}{16} +\frac{(y-0)^2}{49} =1\\\\\\=\frac{x^2}{16} +\frac{y^2}{49} =1

Can anyone help me with this?

Answer:

1.  280/11

2. 1700/11

3. 280/11

4. 3600

5. 360

Step-by-step explanation:

Let n = sides of a regular polygon

For these problems, n = 22 because there are 22 sides.

I am going to write the formulas needed for each question below.

  1. 360/n
  2. 180 - 360/n
  3. 360/n
  4. 180(n-2)
  5. 360 (isn't affected by n)

To solve, just plug in N with 22.

These formulas are very easy to prove and I recommend if you have time try to prove these.

right E units, down A units

whenever you have ( -E) whatever you have Inside you do the opposite just like this problem. We have -E so to the right. if it was positive we go left

Pls help me so I can pass
Naddika [18.5K]

Answer:

The slope of the line is constant. This is because all straight lines have a constant slope. The slope of this line is 1/3. When you use the legs to measure, the horizontal legs of the triangle, they increase in length by 3 units from the previous triangle. The vertical legs of the triangle also increase by 1 with each added triangle. Both of these observations support that the slope of the line is a constant 1/3.

Step-by-step explanation:

I know you were going to copy and paste so i put all above. Hope it helps you.
