The mass of the copper cylinder is 177065.856g

Given:

Radius of the copper cylinder R=12cm

Height of the copper cylinder H=44cm

Density of the cylinder=8.90 \frac{g}{c m^{3}}

To find:

Mass of the copper cylinder

<u>Step by Step by explanation:</u>

Solution:

According to the formula, Mass can be calculated as

\rho=\frac{m}{v} and from this

m=\rho \times v

Where, m=mass of the cylinder

\rho =density of the cylinder

v=volume of the cylinder

And also cylinder is provided with radius and height value.

So volume of the cylinder is calculated as

v=\pi r^{2} h

Where \pi=3.14

r=radius of the cylinder=12cm

h=height of the cylinder=44cm

Thus, v=3.14 \times 12^{2} \times 44

v=3.14 \times 144 \times 44

v=19895.04 \mathrm{cm}^{3}

And we know that, m=\rho \times v

Substitute the known values in the above equation we get

m=8.90 \times 19895.04

m=177065.856g or 177.065kg

Result:

Thus the mass of the copper cylinder is 177065.856g

Why must all chemical equations be balanced?
Lera25 [3.4K]
If the equation is not balanced, you have extra of one substance. If you try to do an experiment, you could wind up with a totally different outcome. Its kind of like baking a cake. If the ingredients aren't the right amounts, you dont get an edible cake.

Boyle's law only works when a gas is kept at a constant temperature. Experimentally this is very tricky as changes in pressure o
Lady bird [3.3K]

The heat that creates this temperature change coming from change in the internal energy of the system as per as first law of thermodynamics.

<h3>What is Boyle's law ?</h3>

A law stating that the pressure of a given mass of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to its volume at a constant temperature.

As we know, Boyle's law only works when the gas is kept at a constant temperature

Here,

When volume of gases decreased, it means work done has occurred on the system, so the work done is used for raising internal energy of the gas and the other is released as the thermal energy.

So,

According to 1st law of thermodynamics,

we know  Q =  ΔU + W  i.e, change in internal energy and work done. So this is a reason. Changing temperature occurs.

Whhat are the maximum number of molecules present in 10g of O2 gas at STP?
Romashka [77]

Of course, at STP, dioxygen is a gas, but 10.0 g is still 10.0 g. We could calculate its volume at STP, which is 22.4 L × its molar quantity, approx. 8⋅L . There are 1.51×1023molecules O2 in 10.0 g O2 .
