Well it depends what 'v' stands for

well all you need to do is replace the v with the number it stands for. For example if v=2 then the expression would be 4.2(2) - 5 - 6.5(2)
Then you use the order of operations. first you multiply

8.4 - 5 - 13

then you subtract from left to right

8.4 - 5 = 3.4

3.4 - 13 =  -13 - 3.4 = -9.4

So IF v=2 (I used 2 as an example, V might not = 2 in your case) then the
answer will be -9.4

I hope this helped you :3

Well, we need to divide $36.25 by 12.5. This will give us the per gallon price. So 36.25/12.5=2.90.
So regular gasoline is $2.90 a gallon
So, now we know this, if we add 14¢ to 2.90, we get $3.04. Now, we multiply 3.04 by 12.5=38. So, 12 and a half gallons of premium gas costs $38

Please refer to the attached file, wherein will be found all eight exercises, solved, sketched, and written.

In conclusion, I would be remiss if I failed to express my gratitude for the sumptuous bounty of five (5) Brainly points with which I have been showered in return for these labors.  Moreover, the crunchy green bread and turbid grey water upon which I have snacked while completing this task were also fondly appreciated, and are gratefully acknowledged.  The beatings have been most effective, and morale has improved immeasurably.

ANSWER

The height of the larger cone is 3cm

EXPLANATION

Since the two cones are similar we can use the scale factor to determine the height of the larger cone.

It was given that, the volume of the larger cone is 27 cm³ and the volume of the smaller cone is 8 cm³.

The scale factor for the volume is

{k}^{3}  =  \frac{27}{8}

The scale factor for the length is

k =  \sqrt[3]{ \frac{27}{8} }

k = \frac{3}{2}

To find the height of the larger cone, we multiply by

h = \frac{3}{2}  \times 2 = 3
