Aubra and Tony are rounding the number 1.65 to the nearest tenth. On a number line they see 1.65 is exactly halfway between 1.6

and 1.7. Aubra says to round to the greatest value, 1.7. Tony says because it is in the middle, you can round to either value. Who is right? Explain.

Aubra is correct because if the place you are round is less then 4, you keep it the same but if it is 5 or higher, you round it up.
5 or more? Raise the Score
4 or less? Let it Rest
Hope this helps!

Aubra is right because 5 is the number u start rounding up from so 1.65 is rounded up to 2.7
