Answer:

Option d

Explanation:

Interference is the phenomenon in which two or more waves having the same frequency combines or cancel out each other to form a resulting wave with the amplitude equals the sum of the amplitudes of the waves that are combined.

Thus it is clear that the particle with the wave nature can produce interference pattern. Hence, electron, light, sound, all of these produces interference pattern when directed towards the slits that are suitably spaced.

You are dragging a block on a surface with friction at a steady speed of 2 m/s and exert a force of 5 N to do so. What is the fo
m_a_m_a [10]

Answer:

Friction = 5 N

Explanation:

As we know that block is moving at constant speed

So the acceleration of the block is zero

So we will have

F_{net} = 0

for net force to be zero

Force exerted on the object by external system must be counter balanced by the force of friction

So we have

F_{ex} = F_f

so we have

F_f = 5 N

I have no clue on how to do this
KatRina [158]

a)5m/s b)5

the 5 is because you add the seconds to get 8 seconds and then do the same with the distance to get 40. 40/8 = 5. speed = 5

Velocity = displacement/change in time

V = 40/8

I just realized how unorganised my math looks but I hope this is helpfull

A quantity of gas is contained in a sealed container of fixed volume. The temperature of the
Alchen [17]

Answer:

If the Kelvin temperature of a gas is increased, the volume of the gas increases. This can be understood by imagining the particles of gas in the container moving with a greater energy when the temperature is increased.

Explanation:

If you heat a gas you give the molecules more energy so they move faster. This means more impacts on the walls of the container and an increase in the pressure. Conversely if you cool the molecules down they will slow and the pressure will be decreased.

To calculate a change in pressure or temperature using Gay Lussac's Law.
