Answer:

D = 30.625 m

Explanation:

given,

Speed of the climber = 1.3 m/s

time = 2.5 s

acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

initial speed of the kit = 1.3 m/s

velocity of the kit after 2.5 s

using equation of motion

v = u + a t

v = 1.3 + 9.8 x 2.5

v = 25.8 m/s

distance travel by the kit in 2.5 s

v² = u² + 2 g h

25.8² = 1.3² + 2 x 9.8 x h

19.6 h = 663.95

h = 33.875 m

distance travel by the rock climber in 2.5 s

distance = speed of climber x time

h' = 1.3 x 2.5

h' = 3.25 m

Distance between kit and rock climber

D = h - h'

D = 33.875 - 3.25

D = 30.625 m

The kit is 30.625 m below climber.

The radii of the sprocket assemblies and the wheel of the bicycle in the figure are:
Furkat [3]
To solve this task we have to make a proportion, but firstly we have to set up all the main points : so, the distance is s=r(B), that has its r=radius,B=angle in rad velocity v=ds/dt= w(r)
Do not forget about w = angular speed in rad/s and w1 = 1 revolution/sec = 2Pi (rad/s)
Now we can go to proportion
v1=v2
w1*r1 = w2r2w2 = w1 * r1/r2 = 2w1 = 4Pi (rad/s)
w2 = w3 (which is the angular velocity of the rear wheel)

SOLVING FOR A : v3 = w3 * r3 = 4pi * 14 (inch/s) = 14.66 ft/sec
v3 = 14.66 ft/sec(1 mile/5280 ft)( 3600 sec/h)= 9.99 or something about 10 mph --- SOLVING FOR B.
I'm sure it helps!

The compressor on an air conditioner draws 66.1 a when it starts up. the start-up time is about 0.388 s. how much charge passes
Ierofanga [76]
The current intensity is defined as the amount of charge flowing through a certain point of a wire divided by the time interval:
I= \frac{Q}{\Delta t}
where Q is the charge and \Delta t is the time. Re-arranging the formula, we have
Q=I \Delta t

for the compressor in our problem, the intensity of current is I=66.1 A, while the time is \Delta t= 0.388 s, so the amount of charge that crosses a certain point of the circuit during this time is
Q=I \Delta t=(66.1 A)(0.388 s)=25.65 C
