This might not be right sorry :

14+14=28
79-28=51

9x4=36
51-36=15
15÷3=5

therefore (I think) there should be 5 inches between each picture.

For questions #6-8, use this data set and show your work  5, 10, 12, 4, 6, 11, 13, 5
Pachacha [2.7K]
Mean (average) can be found by adding up all the numbers and then dividing that by how many numbers there are.
(5+10+12+4+6+11+13+5) / 8 = 66/8 = 8.25 <==

the mode (the number used most often) = 5....just so u know, there doesn't have to be a mode, and sometimes there is more then 1 mode. But for this one, the mode is 5. <==

median (the middle number)...for this, u put the numbers in order...
4,5,5,(6,10),11,12,13
now start moving from both ends going inward until u find the middle number...keep in mind, when u have an odd number of numbers, u will have 1 middle number.....but when there is an even number of numbers, like in this case, u will have 2 middle numbers...so u take ur 2 middle numbers, add them, then divide by 2 to get ur median.
median = (6 + 10) / 2 = 16/2 = 8 <==

Find the average rate of change for the function f(x)=3.2 + 25
wel

The average rate of change of the function is: 3.2.

<h3>What is the Average Rate of Change for a Function?</h3>

Average rate of change = \frac{f(b) - f(a)}{b - a}

Given the function, f(x) = 3.2x + 25, the average rate of change over the interval of x = 2 to x = 6 would be calculated as shown below:

a = 2

b = 6

f(a) = f(2) = 3.2(2) + 25 = 31.4

f(b) = f(6) = 3.2(6) + 25 = 44.2

Average rate of change = (44.2 - 31.4)/(6 - 2) = 3.2.
