Electromagnetic waves are classified into forms such as radio waves, microwaves, and infrared waves, based on the amount of ener

Answer: D) wavelength

Explanation:

The energy E of an electromagnetc wave is given by the following formula:

E=h.f (1)

Where:

h is the Planck constant

f is the frequency

Now, the frequency has an inverse relation with the wavelength \lambda:

f=\frac{c}{\lambda} (2)

Where c is the speed of light in vacuum

Substituting (2) in (1) we have:

E=\frac{hc}{\lambda} (3)

This means the amount of energy an electromagnetic wave carries depends on its wavelength (or its frequency), because the speed of light and h are constant.

<h2>Answer:</h2>

The property is <u>D) wavelength</u>.

<h2>Explanation:</h2>

Wavelength can be found by the distance between successive points on a wave. It can be consecutive corresponding crests, troughs or zero crossings. We can get the most accurate form of wavelength on sinusoidal waves, which are smooth and repetitive.

Two waves which are travelling with the same rate of speed can have different wavelength with varied frequencies. A light’s wavelength varies with varying color.

<u>For example:</u> the wavelength of red is longer than violet.

What life process requires specialized cells in multicellular organisms
worty [1.4K]
The most probable answer for this question would be that almost every life process requires specialized cells in multicellular organisms. To simply put it, cells of multicellular organisms are specialized in a way that they are all grouped into their respective tissues and these tissues are all grouped into their respective organs and these organs are all grouped together into their respective systems and these systems make up the multicellular organisms. These systems have their own functions in maintaining and sustaining the life that the organisms has. The organs have their own functions as well, thus specialized cells are mostly needed in respiration, digestion, circulation, movement, excretion, reproduction, immunity, coordination, and synthesis.

If the work done to stretch an ideal spring by 4.0 cm is 6.0J, what is the spring constant (force constant) of this spring?
cluponka [151]
As AL2006 correctly pointed out the formula is 1/2 kx^2.  I was thinking of force and work is the integral of force over the distance applied.  So now
W= \frac{1}{2}k x^{2}
and
\frac{2*6.0}{0.04^{2} } = k =7500 \frac{J}{m^{2}}
