Answer:

The statement is true

Explanation:

While the Knights of Labor were an important organization in the history of the labor movement in the United States, and have a great legacy in both labor rights achievements, and cultural matters (for example, introducing the tradition of protest songs), they where a critical part in the formulation of the Chinese Exclusion Act, which was signed into law in 1882, and prevented the Chinese from entering the United States.

The Knights of Labor were not necessarily racist against the Chinese, but they reproduced Anti-Chinese rethoric out of fear for possible displacement of American laborers due to the cheap cost of the Chinese immigrant labor force.

Unitary and Federal systems essential questions:
solmaris [256]

Answer:

Federalism is a mixed or compound mode of government that combines a general government (the central or "federal" government) with regional governments (provincial, state, cantonal, territorial or other sub-unit governments) in a single political system. Its distinctive feature, exemplified in the Constitution of the United States, is a relationship of parity between the two levels of government established.[1] Federalism is thus a form of government in which powers are divided between two levels of government of equal status

What can you infer from the fact that the supreme court can declare laws unconstitutional?
Zinaida [17]

The Supreme Court of the United States is the highest court in the country.

Answer: The fact that the Supreme Court can declare laws unconstitutional shows that their duty is to interpret the law. They judge whether new laws fit with previous ones, and with the Constitution itself, which is above every other law.
