Answer:
b. Should prison inmates be offered the opportunity to earn high school or
college degrees, receive job training, and prepare for a future, productive
life outside of prison?
I believe prison inmates should be offered the opportunity to study or receive job training because those opportunities could make a change in their life outside of prison. Their futures could be better just because they got the opportunity to use the time in prison to educate themselves. Education is never wrong and also it is also beneficial for the rest of the society if the prison inmates are productive outside of prison and they do not continue committing crimes.
Explanation:
In this exercise, you have to select one of the questions and then write about it. I chose to write about question "b". It is important to give your opinion on the question you choose to answer but also inform yourself so what you answer makes sense and is related to the reality of prison inmates and society.
Answer:
An election that has been "tinkered" with (a specific party has done something to change the results of the election, usually in a goal to win said election.)
Answer:
The result would likely be a contraction of the economy. The GDP would probably fall or grow less.
A goverment applies contractionary fiscal policy when it reduces spending. Less government spending can reduce economic activity because spending can be a form of investment. For example, when the government spend less on building schools, roads and infraestructure, the people who build those lose their jobs, receive less income, consume less, and the economy contracts.
Contractionary monetary policy is applied by the central bank (the Federal Reserve in the United States). It would consist in reducing the amount of money available (the money supply). Less money in the economy results in higher interest rates. This creates a cycle in which banks give less loans, and investment falls. Less investment contracts the economy.
