Proper.
Proper fractions are when the numerator (top number) is smaller then the denominator (bottom number), improper fractions being the opposite- think of 5/3, 8/5, etc.
In the fractions 5/9 and 10/20 both numerators are smaller then the denominator, making them proper fractions.
If there’s an option to simplify the numbers on the question; 5/9 would stay the same and 10/20 would turn into 1/2. Hope this helps!

Answer:

Proper, but not simplified

Step-by-step explanation:

Improper fractions have a greater number on the numerator ex:

13/23 45/18

Which best describes the resulting three-dimensional figure? a cone with a base radius of 26 cm a cone with a base radius of 14
hammer [34]

The best description of the resulting three-dimensional figure when the considered figure is revolved is: A cylinder with height 24 cm.

What is solid of revolution?

When a figure is revolved around some fixed axis, the whole three dimensional solid formed from the area that it swaps out is called solid of revolution.

Since no image is specified, we will work on the image attached below.

We can visualize and imagine that the horizontal line is still and just rotating on its place. The rectangle will revolve around, and therefore will swap out a cylindrical shape.

Since the length of the rectangle is 24 cm, and it is rotated on its length, so that will serve as height of the formed cylinder.

Thus, the best description of the resulting three-dimensional figure when the considered figure is revolved is: A cylinder with height 24 cm.

I WILL GIVE AN EXTRA 50 POINTS TO WHOEVER GETS THESE 2 QUESTIONS RIGHT
nikdorinn [45]

Answer:

See below for answers and explanations

Step-by-step explanation:

Problem 1:

A standard deck of cards contains 52 cards, consisting of 13 spades. If you select only one randomly, the probability of that occurring would be 13/52 or 1/4. Since there are only 26 red cards in a standard deck, then the probability of selecting a red card would be 26/52 or 1/2. Because the two events are independent of each other, their probabilities are multiplied. Therefore, the probability of selecting a spade, and then replacing it in hopes of drawing a red card is (1/2)(1/4) = 1/8.

Problem 2:

We are selecting a spade and then another spade while NOT replacing the first spade (remember that these events are independent of each other also). This means that the total card count will change by picking up the second card. Therefore, the probability of selecting a spade, followed by another spade, is (13/52)(12/51) = 156/2652 = 1/17.

Find the value of the lettered angles in each of the following ( see image ).
Arisa [49]

Step-by-step explanation:

here's the solution :-

1.) =》f = 90°

( because angle made by diameter on circumference of the circle measures 90° )

2.) =》here,

g + f + 56° = 180°

( because the sum of all interior angles of the triangle measures 180° )

=》g + 90° + 56° = 180°

=》g + 146° = 180°

=》g = 180° - 146°

=》g = 34°

3.) h = 56°

( since, they form alternate interior pair which are equal )
