Let Mary's age be x.

Paul is three times as old as Mary, so Paul's age would be 3x.

Peter is four times as old as Mary, so Peter's age would be 4x.

The sum of their ages is 64
⇒ Paul's age+ Peter's age+ Mary's age= 64
⇒ 3x+ 4x+ x= 64
⇒ 8x= 64
⇒ x= 64/8
⇒ x= 8

Paul's age is: 3x= 3*8= 24

Peter's age is: 4x= 4*8= 32

Final answer: Paul is 24 years old.
Peter is 32 years old.
Mary is 8 years old.

Hope this helps~

Mr. Levy has a budget of $18,000. Uniforms for the marching band cost $315 each, and he needs 62 uniforms. He says, "Since 60x$3
svetoff [14.1K]

Answer:

No. See explanation  below.

Step-by-step explanation:

No.

Since 60 × $300 = $18,000, he would be exactly at budget if he needed 60 uniforms and if each uniform cost $300, but he needs more than 60 uniforms, and each uniform costs more than $315, so the total cost is definitely more than $18,000.

How many 1/3 cm by 1/3 cm by 1/3 cm cubes will fit in a 1 cm by 1 cm by 1 cm box? Explain how you know.
Tems11 [23]
1/3^3=0.037 recurring. 1^3= 1. 1/0.37=27.027. That rounds to 27 so you can fit 27 cubes into the box.
