If you solve the equation to get the equation y=mx+b then 2x+5y=10 equals to
y=(-2x-10)/5 . If you use a graphing calculator and type that into y= it should graph it for you going through coordinates (-3,4) , (0,-2) , (3,-8) and so forth

In parallelogram ABCD , diagonals AC¯¯¯¯¯ and BD¯¯¯¯¯ intersect at point E, BE=2x2−x , and DE=x2+6 .
kondaur [170]
The diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other. So we just equate the two equations BE and DE 2x^2 - x = x^2 + 6 2x^2 - x - x^2 - 6 = 0 x^2 - x - 6 = 0 This is quadratic eqn. So we obtain. (x - 3) ( x + 2) = 0 Setting each to 0 and solving for x, we have that x = 3 and x = -2 So we have two possible values for BD. But Since BE = DE then we can simply double each If x = 3 BD = 2 (2(3)^2 - 3) = 2 ( 18 - 3) = 30 units If x = - 2 BD = 2((-2)^2 -3 ) = 2 (8 - 3) = 10 units

I'm almost positive that the answer is C; no solution. But is it possible to graph that?
andrew-mc [135]
Hi again!

Yes the correct answer is C - There are no solution.

I'm not gonna solve it since you already got the right answer.

Now how do we graph?

We cannot solve this. I used different online graphing calculator but none of them graphed it.

I hope this helps again!

A steep hill has a greater slope than a flat plain. What does the slope of the line on a graph describe?
oee [108]
The slope of a line on a graph describes how "steep" the curve is by using the rise divided by the run (y=mx+b). The slope on the line graph usually represents how much of an increase or decrease is occurring per each unit
