9 tenths - 3 tenths = 6 tenths. this is true the same way that 9 minus 3 = 6. In reality the tenths make both numbers decimals, but in this case the "tenths" is just a classification of the number and it doesn't effect the answer.

9 tenths - 3 tenths = 6 tenths. This problem is just a reflection on basic math. If you take away the word tenths you have the basic problem 9 - 3 = 6. In math, usually the word tenths means that it is being converted to a decimal place (the first to be exact) but in the case, it is just a type of measurement.

What is 25.5n - 3 = 5.5n + 10.
klemol [59]
N = 13/20 or 0.65

25.5n - 3 = 5.5n + 10

Add 3 to both sides of the equation.

25.5n = 5.5n + 13

Subtract 5.5n from both sides.

20n = 13

Divide both sides by 20.

n = 13/20 or 0.65

Find the quotient of '(16t^2-4)/(8t+4)'
Marizza181 [45]

here we have to find the quotient of '(16t^2-4)/(8t+4)'

now we can write 16t^2 - 4 as (4t)^2 - (2)^2

the above expression is equal to (4t + 2)(4t - 2)

there is another expression (8t + 4)

the expression can also be written as 2(4t + 2)

now we have to divide both the expressions

by dividing both the expressions we would get (4t + 2)(4t - 2)/2(4t + 2)

therefore the quotient is (4t - 2)/2

the expression comes out to be (2t - 1)

The formula P=a+b+c gives perimeter P of triangle side lengths a,b,and c how much greater is perimeter when triangle measures 33
seropon [69]

Answer:

41 yards greater is the perimeter of 1st triangular field than the perimeter of 2nd triangular field.

First we have to calculate the perimeter of 1st triangle.

Given:

a = 33 yards

b = 56 yards

c = 65 yards

Now we have to calculate the perimeter of 2nd triangle.

Given:

a = 26 yards

b = 49  yards

c = 38 yards

Now we have to calculate which triangle has greater perimeter and how much greater.

Therefore, 41 yards greater is the perimeter of 1st triangular field than the perimeter of 2nd triangular field.

Step-by-step explanation:

(154-113)

41 yards bigger
