Using sine law:

9/sinc = 15/sin22

sinc = 9sin22 / 15 = 0.225

so c = sin^-1(0.225) = 12.99 degrees ~~ 13 degrees

if B was required:

B = 180  - C - A ~~  145

Help me with this please. <br><br> x = ?<br><br> use socatoah
klemol [59]

Answer:

26

Step-by-step explanation:

In\: \odot Y, WZ is tangent to the circle at point Z and YZ is radius.

\therefore YZ \perp WZ

(tangent radius theorem)

\therefore m\angle WZY = 90\degree

Since, side opposite to 90° angle is called hypotenuse.

So, x represents the length of hypotenuse of \triangle WYZ

Thus, by Pythagoras Theorem

x =  \sqrt{ {24}^{2}  +  {10}^{2} }  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{576 + 100}  \\  \\  =  \sqrt{676}  \\  \\  = 26

A Family spends 240.00 per week on food. If this is 16% of their income, what is the families weekly income?
nexus9112 [7]
Answer: The family's weekly income is $1500

-------------------------------------------

Work Shown:

x = weekly income (in dollars)

16% of x = amount spent on food per week
16% of x = 240
(16/100)*x = 240
0.16*x = 240
0.16*x/0.16 = 240/0.16
x = 1500

Nataly_w [17]

Answer D). 9 ft is correct

Height of the ball at a horizontal distance of 10 feet is 9 ft

Step-by-step explanation:

A ball is thrown and it follows a parabolic path. At each horizontal distance (x) the following equation models the ball’s height (y).

Y(x) = -0.02x^{2} +0.8x+3

Question asked is " What will be height (Y) of the ball when X=10 ft "

Simply putting value of X in given equation

we get,

Y(x) = -0.02x^{2} +0.8x+3

Y(x) = -0.02(10)^{2} +0.8(10)+3

Y(x) = -0.02(100)} +8+3

Y(x) = -2 +8+3

Y(x) = 9

<em>Therefore,</em> Height of the ball at a horizontal distance of 10 feet is 9 ft

Answer D.  9 ft is correct

Find the midpoint of side EF. (4 points)
umka2103 [35]

Answer:

Midpoint of side EF would be (-.5,4.5)

Step-by-step explanation:

We know that the coordinates of a mid-point C(e,f) of a line segment AB with vertices A(a,b) and B(c,d) is given by:

e=a+c/2,f=b+d/2

Here we have to find the mid-point of side EF.

E(-2,3) i.e. (a,b)=(2,3)

and F(1,6) i.e. (c,d)=(1,6)

Hence, the coordinate of midpoint of EF is:

e=-2+1/2, f=3+6/2

e=-1/2, f=9/2

e=.5, f=4.5

SO, the mid-point would be (-0.5,4.5)
