If M is the Midpoint of AB, then solve for x find the unknown measures the given segments.
Leto [7]

Answer:

If M is midpoint of AB, then

AM=MB

4x-5= 2x+11

2x=16

x=8

AM= 4x-5

=4(8)-5

=32-5

=27

BM=2x+11

=2(8)+11

=16+11

=27

Hope it helps:-)

Find the value of z in the similar figures (round to the nearest tenth)
MrRa [10]
As they are similar figures,we can use the ratio of the side to find out the value of z.

The only side that both have the value indicated is 4 and 6,therefore we would use it to find the ratio.

The eqaution would be:
6/4 = z/8
3/2 = z/8
3×8 = 2z
z = 24/2
z = 12

Thus the value of z is 12.

Hope it helps!

The following table shows the length and width of two rectangles:
faltersainse [42]
The perimeter of these can be found by adding length and width and then multiplying by two.

Rectangle A: (with all of the variables already doubled)
2x + 16 + 2x - 2
2x + 2x + 16 - 2
4x + 14
So rectangle A's perimeter is 4x + 14.

Rectangle B: (Still with all the variables already doubled)
8x + 10 + 6x - 4
8x + 6x + 10 - 4
14x + 6
So rectangle B's perimeter is 14x + 6

And now to subtract the two.
(7x + 3) - (4x + 14)
14x + 6 - 4x - 14
14x - 4x + 6 - 14
10x - 8

So it would be C.

Jay needs 19 quarts more paint for the outside of his barn than for the inside. If he uses 107 quarts in all, how many gallons o
love history [14]
Let's use q to represent the number of quarts needed.

you would have the following:

2q= 107-19
2q=88
q=44
44 is the number of quarts in a in the barn.
Now you have to divide that number by 4 to get gallons because there is 4 quarts in a gallon.
There are 11 gallons of paint.
