This question is trying to examine us on a part of Psychology, that is the social Psychology that shows how people's Behavior and how people think affect the other people in the society. So, let us go back to the question and pick some things out. The first thing is; ''overestimating the influence of their personality traits'' and the second thing is, "underestimating the influence of their particular situations". If you look at the two statements above you can see how people can be biased. Okay, let me give this analogy so that you will be able to understand more. For instance now, you or someone you know did something that is wrong, almost all the blame will be pointed at the person that did the wrong thing.
